Sleeping through history

I applaud those of you who crawled out of bed last night and braved the cold to see see a once in a lifetime celestial event.

Unlike you, I was sleeping. 

All night. 

Without waking. 

Not once. 

Which given four young children, a husband who snores like a wheezy beast, hot flashes and anxiety is about as rare an occurrence as a total lunar eclipse on the solstice. Happy first day of winter!
