Snowed In With Kids: The Ugly Truth
Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 11:28AM Ever wonder what it's like to be snowed in for six days with four kids under the age of five including one who is sick and miserable and utterly inconsolable?
I'm reminded of the scene in "A Few Good Men" where Jack Nicholson nearly explodes from rage and insanity. "YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!"
So, do you think you can? Handle the truth?

My mom just said 'I bet your hip feels good" My heart is with you and hope that you can survive.
Why did you pinch him? Just wait until he is bigger than all of you! He will be, we'll call him tiny or Little T and he will toss you all out in the snow. I rather see him as a gentle giant, but stand by my he will be the biggest of the D-L clan.
Oh, poor Uma with the sweet heart! She even does a submission pose and then tries again.
I hope he takes a long, long nap and feels better...for the sake of all of you.

Poor little monkey. It's not easy being a little person. Or Uma.
Poor little guy!! Why do I get the feeling that even if if you tried to scoop him up and hold him, he'd fight & run away? (But that just gave me an idea! I think I'm going to start web-camming Jakob when he launches into one of his tantrums so he can see how he looks!!)
I dared to watch, but only with the volume on mute since I live in Wisconsin with my 3 kids and suffer from Cabin Fever PTSD.
Dana, don't you have earpluggs? All this shall pass and faster than you think. You will also not remember this awful period of their lives ,only the good ones.
