Ice storm

Some days, the weather is maddening.
Some times, it makes the mundane fantastical.
Today, it was. It did.
The ice crackling and popping from the top of towering trees stopped me in my tracks across the crunchy field. I stood: haunted and awed.
Then the dog tugged her leash impatiently, dragged me over the slippery sidewalks and nearly pulled me to my ass.

We had some great ice on our house and the car but, alas, took no pictures...
My favorite's the license plate. Love the sharpness of the icicles against the blurred license plate. But they're all very lovely. Nice job.
Lovely pictures! I have to admit, though, I am glad our southern winter has returned. Wet, but sunny and 50F. Stay warm and safe!
